Chelsea’s Character and Personality Responsible for Europa League Status – Maurizio Sarri
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has attributed his club side’s present Europa League status to their “great personality and character” which also is a great factor in their 4-3 victory over Frankfurt which eventually brought them to the final-showdown position with Arsenal, BT Sport reports.
The too-close-to-call goal situation between the two teams would later on Thursday night require a penalty shootout – which gave Chelsea side a 4-3 conquest at Stamford Bridge.
“You need a great personality, a great character. I think it’s really useless to try [to prepare for] penalties.” Sarri told BT Sport on Thursday.
