Lagos Road Construction Woes: Residents React (Video)

Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial capital, is presently having some of its major roads attended to by the State government. However, this welcome development is not taking place without some attendant frustrations being faced by the residents of the areas receiving such government maintenance attention.

Lagos State has the largest urban population in Nigeria with an estimated population of about 18 million people.

Citymoods media crew went round recently in response to a flood of requests to beam a media light on the current status of the roads as well as people’s daily experiences. We got the following reactions from some concerned individuals on Ikorodu express road, out of the many roads experiencing this gridlock.

We went around to interview some of the affected road users on what the government must do to alleviate or eradicate the existing challenges, and this is what they had to say:
