The still raging social storm involving the 10-year-old Chrisland female student has opened people’s eyes to community social responsibility.
It likely played a part in the recent Magodo SW youths enlightenment seminar which they tagged: South West Zone Youth Hangout.
The clear primary focus of the seminar was to enlighten especially young females on what and what amounts to sexual abuse and/or harassment and/or assault.
The youthful speaker was thorough and graphically touched upon areas that parents shy away from discussing with female children.
Mr. Olajide Oduyoye was a parent who loved the initiative and had this to say.
The youthful speaker aggressively drummed into the minds of the young female attendants what they might have erstwhile overlooked as harmless.
A male youth, Emmanuel Nwachukwu, and a female youth, Abiodun who both attended the seminar and loved it also spoke to Citymoods. Hear them.
The youthful speaker then used the acronym PANTS and then told the youths what each letter stands for in the fight against sexual harassment.
