Nigerian Stock Market Closes Bullish For The Week

The Nigeria Stock Exchange market closed bullish on Friday. Basic market performance indices appreciated for the day.
The All-Share Index close in the green for the day. The ASI garnered 40.27 basis points to close at 29,212 basis points. The ASI appreciated by 0.14% for the day compared to 0.04% the previous day. Year-to-Date the All Share Index was up by %.
The Equity Market Capitalization close at N10.979 trillion compared to N10.963 trillion the previous day. A total number of 4,8386 deals was traded on the stock exchange market. Investors traded 279.6 million units of shares valued at N2.82 billion.
Transcorp Plc leads the top traded stock by volume. The company traded 92.5 million units of its shares valued at N122.3 million. Access Bank ranked in N414.5 million. The lender’s sold 60.3 million units for the day.
Courtville Business Solutions Plc traded 33.3 million units worth N6.7 million. FCMB sold 18.7 million units of shares worth N36.7 million. Zenith Bank rounds up the top five traded stock by volume. The company sold 16.9 million units at N358.8 million.
Chams Plc was the worst performed stock for the day. The stock appreciated by 10% to close at N0.45. Goldlink Insurance Plc shed 10% of the value of its shares to close at N0.36.
Meanwhile, Dangote Flour declined by 9.76% to close at N17.10. McNichols was down by 9.19% to close at N0.50. Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc completes the top five losers for the day. The stock declined by 8% to close at N0.23.
Courtville Business Solutions Plc leads the top gainers’ table for the day. The stock appreciated by 10% to close at N0.22%. Fidson Healthcare Plc was up by 9.50% to close at N4.60.
Cement Company of Northern Nigeria closes at N15.85. The stock was up by 8.56% in today’s tradings. Japaul Oil Plc appreciated by 8.33% to close at N0.39. While Aglevent Plc completes the top five gainers chart for the day. The stock closed at N0.28.
