Rebel Wilson reveals she was kidnapped at gunpoint and taken to ‘a house in the middle of nowhere’

Rebel Wilson has opened up on a horrifying ordeal where she was kidnapped by gunpoint in Africa.

The 40 year old, who recently flaunted her incredible 4.5 stone weight loss after transforming her lifestyle in 2020, explained that she was taken to “a house in the middle of nowhere” and stayed there overnight before being allowed to leave with a group of women she was travelling with.

“There was one time in Africa where I got kidnapped. It was in rural Mozambique,” she said in a discussion with Ant Middleton for Sky One show called Straight Talking.

“We were on this cattle truck and these men came on another truck with a lot of guns. [They pulled up beside us] with the big guns and they were like, ‘Yeah, you’ve got to get off your truck’.

“They took us to a house in the middle of nowhere. I felt like I was very good in the crisis. I was like a team leader.”

Rebel, who recently showed off her incredible curves in a skin-tight onesie after revealing her weight loss secrets, went on to explain how she got all the women to link arms, just in case their kidnappers decided to separate them in the middle of the night.

She continued: “They sat us down, and I said, ‘Everybody link arms,’ because I was petrified in the night that they might want to take one of the girls or something.”

The Bridesmaids star and her companions were allowed to leave the following morning, but Rebel said she’s convinced they were using her vehicle to smuggle illegal substances across the border…….read more
